Mother's Day Trunk Show at the Shop at Guilford Art Center

announces a trunk show featuring American handmade jewelry, clothing and
accessories to coincide with Mother’s Day, on Saturday, May 4, 11am-2pm. The
event features stylish and eye-catching pieces for spring, summer and
beyond. 

 

Fiber artist and knitwear designer Andrea Geer creates
sophisticated yet playful clothing with a sculptural quality and a fresh,
contemporary approach. Her pieces are hand loomed from merino wool, linen and
cotton and incorporate handmade buttons and pins to enhance the overall design.


 

Christine Guanipa
of Little Man Originals creates stand-out
fabric handbags and accessories in vibrant colors and graphic patterns that are
a great alternative to leather and plastic.

 

Jewelry artist Faye
Guanipa’s hand-crafted statement
necklaces are bold accessories for the every-day woman with a strong sense of
herself and a passion for personal style.

 

The Shop also
features works by hundreds of other artisans, including jewelry, accessories,
ceramics, glass, wood and more.





The Shop at Guilford Art Center
is open year-round, seven days a week, Monday – Saturday 10-4, Sunday 12-4.
