Fran McMullen, Neighbor

Fran McMullen, an editorial and fine art photographer, currently lives in her native Connecticut in the small coastal town of Branford. Photographing daily, while sharing life with her 2 teenagers, Roland and Carmen, and numerous pets keeps her busy. Influenced by her father’s career as a photographer, Fran had her first work published at age 14. She received her BFA in Photography from Paier College of Art in Connecticut. Her fine art work has been exhibited, shown and received awards throughout New England.  

An avid kayaker, Fran kayaks 10 months out of the year and many of her shots are taken from the kayak, allowing her to venture to places otherwise unseen. Braving the elements you can find her on the beach year round in search of the perfect sunset.

Fran’s editorial assignments consistently appear in the 5 magazines of Moffly Media Publications. Editorial work has also taken Fran to places such as Ireland and Haiti. 

In addition to her fine art and editorial work Fran is involved in philanthropic work and regularly contributes her photographic services to non-profit agencies such as, High Hopes Therapeutic Riding, Long Wharf Theate
