Weekend Planner: Fun For Fireworks! Bishop Orchards Adoption Event, Elm City Girls Choir, Dance For Peace, Movies And More

Also on Saturday, listen to girls and women, many of them from the shoreline area, as the Elm City Girls' Choir performs. "On June 29 at 4:00pm, more than 300 girls and women, ranging in age from 6-35 will join forces on the stage of Fair Haven School's auditorium to perform The Elm City Girls' Choir's greatest hits of the past two decades.  The choir's 20th Anniversary Concert will feature current members as well as the Saecula Women's Choir, a new ensemble for alumnae.  Graduates of the choir from the past two decades will be traveling to New Haven from all across the country to be a part of the largest reunion in the organization's history.  Repertoire will include classical choral music, folk songs from around the world, jazz and pop arrangements, spirituals, patriotic songs, and gospel selections." The Second Annual Dance For Peace also is  Sunday, at the Kate in Old Saybrook, CT.
