The Guilford 6th Grade Travel Basketball went 5-0 during the Devon Rotary / Devon Knights Pre Season Tournament over two weekends in November, defeating strong competition from New Haven and Fairfield Counties.
There were 10 teams in the 6th Grade Division, and Guilford played teams from Danbury, East Lyme, Branford, and Milford, outscoring their opponents 152-75. Guilford faced Branford a second time in the championship game on Sunday, November 24, and won 37-12.

Coach Jeff Leiby said, “These girls are a special group of young athletes and they worked hard against some very talented teams. I was impressed by their focus during the tournament and look forward to another great season.”
