No School for Guilford Public Schools Monday, Feb. 11

A message from GPS Communications Coordinator Lorri Haan:

ALL GUILFORD PUBLIC SCHOOL BUILDINGS WILL BE CLOSED ON MONDAY FEBRUARY 11, 2013.

There will be no school in Guilford Public Schools on Monday, February 11, 2013.

Full year employees who normally report on emergency closing days should stay home on Monday. Administrative Offices and schools will be closed.

Custodians and maintenance personnel will receive communications about your schedules from Facilities Director Cliff Gurnham.

Snow removal continues throughout the Town of Guilford including at our school parking lots and grounds and the school bus yard. 

Town of Guilford officials are working as quickly as possible to clear roads.  They are encouraging residents to continue to stay home and off of the roads to facilitate the snow removal process as they are utilizing all available resources to accomplish this task including outside contractors, payloaders and other construction equipment.

Please continue to monitor our regular communications outlets including the Guilford Public Schools website, your email, and local television stations for announcements about the status of school for Tuesday. Superintendent Paul Freeman continues to work with Town officials to assess the safety and accessibility of our roadss
