TD Bank Robbed in Nearby Durham

Authorities are searching for a male suspect shown holding a gun in video surveillance from Tuesday morning's robbery at the TD Bank on Main Street in Durham.

State Police are describing the suspect of Tuesday morning's armed robbery of the TD Bank at 331 Main Street in Durham as stocky, mid 50's, wearing a tan baseball hat and tan gloves, sunglasses, blue jeans and sneakers. 

The man's face was covered with a dark fleece zip-up jacket.

According to police, the suspect walked into the bank at approximately 9:26 a.m. and displayed a black handgun. 

The suspect then fled the area on foot. No one was injured.
