Report: Tractor Trailer Accident Closed I-95 in Guilford Friday Afternoon

News 8 WTNH.com is reporting a tractor trailer accident closed a part of I-95 Southbound between Exits 57 and 56 Friday afternoon. 

Statewide CTDOT @CTDOT_Statewide tweeted this around 1:00 PM Friday:

 Tractor Trailer Accident - GUILFORD I95S 1.36 miles before Exit 56 (LEETES ISLAND RD) at 2/8/2013 1:06:19 PM

And then Tweeted this around 4:30 Friday:

 Cleared: (20813022) Tractor Trailer Accident - GUILFORD I95S 1.36 miles before Exit 56 (LEETES ISLAND RD) at 2/8/2013 4:35:39 PM

WTNH.com said that according to the CT DOT, "the tractor-trailer went down an embankment."

Guilford Patch contacted Troop F for further information, but none is available at this time.
