Open House Theft Suspect Arrested, Charged With Larceny 3rd

Ruitto is suspected of entering multiple homes during "Home Sale Open Houses" in multiple towns throughout Connecticut and New York State over the past several months.

On Aug. 23, 2013, an active arrest warrant was served on Angela Ruitto, 26, 20 Briarwood Drive, Old Saybrook, CT.

Ruitto was arrested after a lengthy multi-agency investigation into thefts from homes that were for sale.

Ruitto is suspected of entering multiple homes during "Home Sale Open Houses" in multiple towns throughout Connecticut and New York State over the past several months.  

Ruitto was charged with Larceny 3rd Degree. She was given a court date of Sept. 3, 2013.  She was released on a Promise to Appear.

Ruitto was then taken into custody by the Glastonbury Police for a similar case in their town.
