Guilford Woman Arrested, Charged With Defrauding Lacrosse Booster Club

The club president was arrested and charged with using more than $4,000 for her own use.

From the Guilford Police Department: 

On Dec. 10, 2013 at 6:49 a.m.,  a fraud complaint was filed by the school principal at the Guilford High School. It was reported that a possible theft of funds from the Guilford Lacrosse Boys Booster Club had taken place sometime since June 2013.

The investigation revealed that Ann Marie Ranfone, 42, 1804 Long Hill Road, Guilford, CT, the Club President, had used over $4,100.00 of the clubs fund for her own use.

Ranfone was served with an arrest warrant on January 17,2014.

She was charged with Larceny 3rd Degree, and released on a $5,000 bond. Ms. Ranfone was assigned a court date of January 28th, 2014 at 121 Elm Street, New Haven, CT.
