Guilford Man Arrested for Sexual Relationship with 13-Year-Old Girl
Guilford Police report the investigation is ongoing into the 25-year-old's activities — in case there are more underage victims who are identified and/or come forward.
A 25-year-old Guilford man has been arrested and charged with sexual assault after it was found he was having a relationship with a 13-year-old local girl, police said.
According to Guilford Police, the department was notified by the victim's guardians that a sexual relationship was occurring between the 13-year-old girl and a 25-year-old man.
After an investigation, Jason Riordan Murphy, of Maplecrest Drive in Guilford, was identified as that man, and charged on warrant with:

- 3 counts of second-degree sexual assault
- 3 counts of risk of injury to a minor
- enticing a minor via computer
- misrepresentation of age to entice a minor
Murphy then turned himself and was held on a $150,000 bond. He was arraigned at New Haven Superior Court on Monday.
Police said the investigation is continuing, in the event more victims are identified or come forward.
