Madison Woman killed in Late-Night Car Crash in Guilford

Late Thursday night, a 23-year-old Madison woman was killed in a one-car accident on Flat Meadow Road/ Saw Mill Road in Guilford.

Guilford Police now confirming in a Press Release to Guilford Patch that they are investigating a fatal motor vehicle accident which claimed the life of 23-year-old Michelle Noble, of Fawn Brook Circle, Madison late Thursday night. Officers Massey, Larsen, and Olszewski of the Guilford Police Department are the investigating officers.

The Guilford PD has released the following Press Release on the incident:

The Guilford Police is investigating a Fatal Motor Vehicle Accident in which Michelle Noble,  Age 23, of  Fawn Brook Circle, Madison, CT was killed. The accident occurred at approximately 11:41 PM, on Thursday (01-24-13) evening at Flat Meadow Road and Saw Mill Road.

Ms. Noble was a passenger in the vehicle. She was found by Fire and Police personnel to be suffering from trauma. Ms. Noble was transported to Yale New Haven Hospital by Guilford Fire Department personnel where she was  pronounced dead. 

Preliminary investigation indicates that  the vehicle was travelling north on Saw Mill Road.  Upon reaching Flat Meadow Road the operator lost control of the vehicle and entered the woods.  The driver and (2) other occupants were transported to Yale New Haven Hospital where they are currently being treated for injuries. 

This case is under active investigation. Anyone with information regarding this accident is asked to contact the Guilford Police.

Both NBC Connecticut News and the New Haven Register are reporting that 23-year-old Madison resident Michelle Noble has been identified as the woman killed in the one-car crash responded to at around 11:41 PM Thursday night.

Guilford Police responded to the call to find Noble suffering from trauma when they arrived. According to NBC News, The Guilford Fire Department transported her to Yale-New Haven Hospital where she was pronounced dead. She was transported there with the two other car occupants, who are now being treated for injuries, NBC News reports. 

The New Haven Register identifies Noble, of Fawn Brook Circle, Madison, as one of the passengers in the car, which was travelling north on Saw Mill Road. According to the preliminary investigation, when the driver reached the intersection, the driver lost control of the car and it went into the woods. 

Both publications ask that those with any information regarding this accident is asked to contact Guilford Police, at 203-453-8061.
