Family hike in North Guilford

This is a family hike where we will see meadows, wetlands, rocky ridges, pine bluffs, a charcoal demonstration site and a pond created by beavers.  The terrain is moderate with some ups and downs.  This hike is suitable for children aged 5 and older and is sponsored by the Appalachian Mountain Club and the Connecticut Forest and Park Association.  Leader: Janet Ainsworth; janetkainsworth@gmail.com; 203-530-7826.  Braemore is opposite Bluff Head Farm and just south of the Durham town line.
