The town of Guilford is asking residents to stay off the roads and home today as they continue to work on the roads. This alert went out this morning:
Good morning this is the Town of Guilford due to the inclement weather First Selectman Joseph Mazza is requesting all residents please stay off the roads today.
The town also reports that they are getting more equipment from private contractors. They posted this on their website today:
Please stay off the roads if possible to aide in the clearing process. The Town is getting more equipment from private contractors and the State just released equipment to assist municipalities as well. Thank you for your continued patience.
