Town Anticipates Every Road Passable by End of Day

A recent post from the town on their website and on Facebook indicates that every road in Guilford will be passable by the end of the day.

After days of around the clock hard work and assistance from contractors and payloaders, Public Works anticipates every road will be passable by the end of the day today.

The town of Guilford posted this on their website this morning:

The Parks and Recreation Department's day and evening programs are cancelled for today.

Many businesses have already returned to their normal hours, and many more join today. Ella reopens today at 11 AM, The Stone House will be serving lunch at 11:30, YOLO is open, along with CVS, Flutterby, just to name a few.

Page Hardware, who have been open for a few days, is fully stocked with any storm recovery equipment folks may need. Guilford Patch received this message from Amy Earls this morning:

Page Hardware will be open normal hours today and we have plenty of roof rakes, ice melt, sand, snow shovels, and gas cans. The back parking lot is down to bare pavement in places, and the front, street parking is clear if people are brave enough to park there. Slowly returning to normal.
