'The Night Before Christmas' Story Time at Henry Whitfield Museum Tomorrow

A new special program at the Henry Whitfield Museum in it's first year running offers hourly readings of Clement Moore's classical holiday tale

 

Guilford's Henry Whitfield Museum may be halting their regular hours very shortly for the season, on December 14th, but before they do so, they are offering a story time reading of a classic holiday tale.

Tomorrow, December 9th, the museum is holding a special event featuring readings of Clement Moore's classic holiday tale, 'The Night Before Christmas.' The tale will be read inside the museum every hour on the hour from 11 AM until 4 PM.

The museum will also feature discounts on children's toys, games, and books in the shop during the event. 

Visitors can also check out the museum's current exhibit, Holidaze: The Real Story of Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas

The program is open to the public and is included with regular museum admission. Reservations are not required.     

From December 15th-April 30th the museum is available by appointment only on weekdays. December 17 through the 21, the Gift shop & Visitor Center will be open for holiday shopping, their Holidaze exhibit, and Guilford Goes Global display. Admission is free. 

Admission is $8 for adults, $6 for seniors and college students, $5.00 for youth ages 6 to 17 and free to children under 6.  School and group tours are available year round by appointment.
