It may have been a dreary day outside yesterday but that didn't stop booklovers from dropping by the Guilford Free Library Book Sale yesterday. Joan Shrewsbury, a Library Volunteer, was hard at work when I swung by. "We volunteers work all year long on this event," said Shrewsbury. "We box all the books up when they come in throughout the year and then unpack and sort them for the sale."
All their hard work paid off, and the sale offers quite a selection of books, from Classics like William Shakespeare, to new popular texts, like "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" and "The Help."
You only have one more day to check out this great event! The sale will run today, 11 AM to 3 PM, and all books are half off. Great literature at a great price; can't beat it!
