After speaking with the Guilford Police Department, they report that there is currently no closure on Leetes Island.
Original Story: CT DOT Reporting Leetes Island Road Closure due to Flooding
According to the Connecticut Department of Transportation website, Route 1 at Leetes Island Road in Guilford is closed due to flooding. The incident was reported Friday, February 8 at 10:35 am.
The duration of the flooding is four hours or less, the website states.
