More Cold Weather Expected for Guilford this Week; Snow Possible Friday

We may have some snow in Guilford Monday night, but it may not have been the last we see for the week. The National Weather Service is predicting that snow is likely Friday into Friday night. According to AccuWeather, total accumulation is expected to be approximately 1 to 3 inches, and the chance of precipitation is 60-70%. 

We're also due for some chilly weather this week, the coldest we've seen this season in many areas in the Northeast. It looks like today, Wednesday, Jan. 23, and tomorrow, Thursday, Jan. 24th will be the coldest.

The high today will only reach around 20 degrees, and Wednesday night there is a low of 6 degrees. Tomorrow's high will hit around 25 degrees and a low around 7 degrees.

Wednesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 20. West wind 8 to 11 mph.

Wednesday Night: A slight chance of snow after midnight. Cloudy, with a low around 6. West wind 5 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Thursday: Cloudy through mid morning, then gradual clearing, with a high near 25. Wind chill values as low as -4. Blustery, with a northwest wind 8 to 13 mph increasing to 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon.

Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 7. Northwest wind 5 to 11 mph.

Friday: Snow likely, mainly after 3pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 28. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Friday Night: Snow likely. Cloudy, with a low around 21. Chance of precipitation is 70%.

Saturday: A chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 26. Blustery. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 13.
