Guilford Free Library has something to offer the Kids, and families, over School Vacation

Guilford Free Library Children's Department is offering several school vacation drop-in programs December 26th- January 3rd

 

Guilford Public Schools will hold their last day of classes today and at dismissal time, it's official Holiday Vacation! Families will have some time to spend quality time together, relax, rest, and rejuvenate before the school year starts up again.

If you have some down time, and are in need of some ideas for what to do with the kids over break Guilford Free Library is offering several programs for just the kids, and for the whole family:

Drop-in Vacation Stories:

Children and their parents are welcome to join us for special stories from the library’s storytelling collection. Registration is not required, Wednesday, December 26th and Thursday 27th, 2012 from 10:00 – 10:30 am. For all ages.

Drop-in Board Games:

Play games all day long. Play your favorite games with friends. Just ask for them at the children's desk. Thursday, December 26th from 9 AM to 8 PM. For all ages. 

Drop-in Movie:

"The Last Unicorn"- A lonely unicorn searches for others like herself. Go with her on this fantastic adventure. Recommended for ages 4 and up. Friday, December 28th, from 11-12:15 PM.

Drop-in Playtime:

"Pop-in-Play" for parents, children and friends. All in the play area of the children's room. Friday, December 28th from 2-3 PM. For all ages. 

There's tons of other stuff to do with the kids over break, like attending the Frosty 5K. Kids of all ages can now participate thanks to the new Frosty event, the Kids Fun Run.
