Dudley Farm Holiday Open House & Market this Saturday

Dudley Farm holds their 17th annual Holiday Market and Open House this Saturday offering baked goods, arts and crafts, tours of the Farmhouse decorated for the holidays, and a Maple Candy Demonstration (weather permitting)

Visit Dudley Farm this Saturday, the first of December, from 9 AM to 2 PM for their 17th annual Holiday Open House and Market. The Farmhouse will be decorated for the holidays and you can even pay a visit to St. Nicholas. Holiday music, played on the Bowed Psaltery, will fill the air with holiday spirit.

"We have so much to offer at the event," said Barbara Hammarlund. "We have baked goods, arts & crafts, jellies and jam." Other treats available will include eggs, fibers, fresh holiday greens and trees, honey and maple syrup, naturally-raised meats, pickles and soaps.

"Visitors will always be able to purchase tickets for our quilt raffle," continued Hammarlund.

As long as the weather holds up, Buster Scranton will present a Maple Candy Demonstration at 11 AM in the Munger Barn. He will combine chemistry, physics, skill and "a little luck" together to turn maple syrup into pure maple candy, says the Farm's website. Enjoy all the fragrences as the creation comes together, and enjoy a sample at the demonstration's conclusion.
