"I am so excited that businesses are stepping up to help us make this event a success,” said Event Chairman Selectman Cartier.  “This is truly a community event with everyone coming together to make our town cleaner and more beautiful and it is truly a group initiative. However, more sponsors would be greatly appreciated to ensure even greater success.”

The Organizers will be on the Guilford Green on the date of the event from 8am until 2 pm providing materials for clean-up and designated areas.  “We will have designated areas to clean-up in the town, however, participants are free to select their own venue to beautify,” said Selectman Cartier.  “I would greatly appreciate it if you could let us know either before or on the date of the event so we can track all the areas of town that were cleaned up.”

For additional information, call Selectman Cindy Cartier 203-916-2430/email: cynthia.cartier@comcast.net or come to the Green May 3rd (or May 4th ) for an assignment. Collect trash in your area. Then bring the trash, recycling, tires or metal to the marked collection area behind Town Hall.   The trucks will be available all weekend.
