EMILY A. NOLFO, MD, APPOINTED PRESIDENT-ELECT OF NEW HAVEN COUNTY MEDICAL ASSOCIATION

GUILFORD, Conn. (NOV 19, 2013)- The New Haven County Medical Association (NHCMA) appointed Emily A. Nolfo, MD, the President-Elect of NHCMA at their 229th Annual Meeting, which took place on October 21, 2013 at the Aqua Turf in Plantsville.   

Dr. Nolfo graduated from Princeton University with a B.S. in Russian Studies and received her M.D. from SUNY-Brooklyn. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center. Dr. Nolfo received her Board Certification in Internal Medicine.

Prior to her most recent appointment, Dr. Nolfo served on the NHCMA Board of Governors and as the 2012-2013 Vice President. As an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Yale Medical School, Dr. Nolfo regularly teaches medical students in her office. She is a member of the American College of Physicians and has served on the Executive Board of the Connecticut State Medical Society. Currently, Dr. Nolfo is a General Practitioner at Stony Creek Internal Medicine and Wellness in Branford.
