Guilford Schedules Restaurant/Retail District Snow Clean Up For Friday Night

The town of Guilford will be removing snow from around the town Green, near the town's restaurant, retail, and residential district starting at 6 p.m. Friday night. 

It looks like some work has already begun with a bucket loader this afternoon (check out the Guilford Patch pic). 

Here is the news release from the town of Guilford: 

SNOW REMOVAL ALERT 

Pleased be advised that the Town of Guilford Public Works department will be working around the Green beginning at

6 PM TONIGHT [Friday night, Feb. 15]

Work will be done along Whitfield Street, Water Street, Boston and Park Streets.

Clearing of the Municipal Parking Lot off of Water Street will also be worked on.

Guilford Police will be on-hand to help direct traffic.

If possible, find alternate parking locations to allow as much clean-up as possible.

Thank you for your cooperation as we continue to recover from the most devastating storm in over 100 years.
