Save The Date: Concert On The Guilford Town Green July 28 At 6 p.m.

The Shoreline Jazz Collective presents Pianist, Composer & Arranger Mike Holober       on July 28, 2013, at 6 p.m. on the Guilford Town Green. The rain location is 32 Church Street, Guilford, CT.  

Pianist, composer-arranger, and educator Mike Holober is Artistic Director/Conductor of the Westchester Jazz Orchestra and Composer-In-Residence with The Gotham Wind Symphony.

He has performed with/had his works performed and recorded by The HR Big Band in Frankfort, The WDR Big Band in Cologne, The Stockholm Jazz Orchestra, The Vanguard Jazz Orchestra, The Gotham Wind Symphony, Westchester Jazz Orchestra, The Airmen Of Note, The Army Blues, Prism Saxophone Quartet, John Patitucci, The Tim Ries Rolling Stones Project, Nick Brignola, Jason Rigby, Dave Pietro, Charles Pillow, and many others.

In addition to directing Westchester Jazz Orchestra and his own big band, The Gotham Jazz Orchestra, Mike holds the piano chairs in The Anita Brown JO, The Pete McGuinness JO, and The NewYorkestra.

The concert will feature two student & community groups:

SJC COMMUNITY BIG BAND

SJC COLLEGE PREP BIG BAND

as well as the

SHORELINE JAZZ COLLECTIVE BIG BAND, a group of dedicated professional musicians from the CT shoreline and Massachusetts.
