Support Female Veterans

Starting in June, female veterans, their families and supporters from all over the state of Connecticut will be uniting to run in several races to raise funds for their fellow women veterans. Inspired by a female combat veteran, the team is taking on some of the toughest races in the country throughout the spring, summer and fall. The team is looking for individual, corporate, service organization and other sponsorships. The funds raised will go to AMVETS Post 43, Female Veterans Committee. These funds will be used to continue outreach and support to fellow veterans in need, advocacy for veteran’s issues and education of benefits and the public.
