On Friday, September 7th, 95 sophomore students and their advisors from Brunswick School of Greenwich, a college preparatory day school serving boys in grades pre-kindergarten through 12, volunteered at Pinchbeck Rose Farm in Guilford to benefit the Roses for Autism Program. The Brunswick School Class of 2015 also donated $3,000 to Roses for Autism to continue the work that they do for the community. The students were able to work alongside Connecticut State Senator Scott Frantz, who was enthusiastic to lend his time and make a difference.
Roses for Autism is a social enterprise devoted to helping people with Autism Spectrum Disorders learn the essential skills that lead to successful employment in the community. Started in 2009 in Guilford, Conn, operating out of the Pinchbeck Rose Farm, Roses for Autism offers a variety of employment opportunities for individuals with and without Autism as well as a training program designed specifically for individuals on the spectrum.
