Today was the final day of the first-session of the Horse Trails to Learning program at Turning Point Farm. Eleven children spent the last two weeks learning all about horses, from breeds to digestion, writing a journal, creating a dream horse, riding each day and making a horseshoe picture frame as a souvenir of their time at HTL. Students competed in a riding competition and ribbons were awarded based on a horse show point system. We even had a birthday celebration for Rika of Orange who turned 11 today! A fantastic day, albeit sad. Two spaces are still open for the next session starting on July 29th, contact Chris at 203-804-5343.
